Mrs. Jo Perciato Grad.Assoc.Phys. MCSP MMACP AACP HCPC

Jo completed her Physiotherapy training at Sheffield Hallam University and qualified in 1987. She has worked in a wide variety of both NHS hospitals and private physiotherapy practices in North London and Hertfordshire where she gained invaluable and extensive knowledge of both clinical and managerial experience. In addition Jo has also undertaken extensive postgraduate study and reached a recognised standard of excellence in neuromusculoskeletal (nerve, muscle and bone) physiotherapy to become a member of the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP). Members of the MACP have the knowledge and practical skills to ensure that they are able to provide an excellent standard of care in examination, treatment and management for people with neuromusculoskeletal problems.

Jo is a dedicated and caring professional Physiotherapist who is self-motivated and works to a very high standard. She completed her training in Acupuncture in 2007 and has a particular interest in using it for pain management, headaches and spinal pain. Jo also has a very keen interest in treating any sports injuries and has extensive experience working with runners of all abilities and distances.

Working alongside the Road Safety Team at Hertfordshire County Council Jo has presented numerous Health and Mobility Planning sessions on their Driving Advantage Courses and also goes into local primary schools to talk to pupils about their musculoskeletal and postural development. She regularly attends courses in order to keep up to date with the latest developments in her profession.

Jo initially set up the Physiotherapy Clinic in Wodson Park Sports Centre in 2002 and has established an excellent reputation as a Physiotherapist, demonstrated by the fact that the majority of her work is through recommendation from her patients.

Mr. Michael Orr BSc.Hons MCSP HCPC

Mike joined Perciato Physiotherapy Clinic in October 2012 and soon became a very valued member of the team. He is a highly skilled musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with a special interest in Sports Rehabilitation and an affinity for manual therapy. He graduated in 2006 from the University of Hertfordshire and developed his clinical skills in a wide variety of settings. Early on in his career he worked as a Chartered Physiotherapist in a French ski resort and also for a return to work company attached to one of the UK's largest Law firms. Over the past six years he has worked as a Musculoskeletal Specialist within the NHS. The wide variety of patients treated in the NHS with both acute and chronic conditions has meant that Mike has gained an exceptionally well rounded experience and knowledge base.

His passion for the treatment and management of sporting injuries stems from his love of sport itself.

Since 2011, he has been the Lead Team Physiotherapist for Hertfordshire Rugby Football Union ( RFC ) under 13's to under 23's. This has enabled him to provide pitch side first aid cover and rehabilitation for elite level young sportsmen. He also currently works in adult rugby with Stevenage RFC, providing both pitch side and rehabilitation support.

Aside from the extensive training and development Mike has gained within the NHS he has also successfully completed a number of post graduate courses to enhance his clinical skills. These include acupuncture, core stability, sports massage and biomechanics of the foot.

In his spare time Mike enjoys a keen interest in sports and runs regularly and plays Badminton. He rarely misses a year in the mountains to Snowboard.
